Emmy Awards 2012 Live Stream, Primetime Emmys Nokia Theatre Online Webcast Feed
The Primetime Emmy Awards are awards presented by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences in recognition of excellence in American primetime television programming. First awarded in 1949, they were originally referred to as just the "Emmy Awards" until the first Daytime Emmy Award ceremonies were held in the 1970s, and the word "primetime" was added to distinguish between the two.
The Primetime Emmys generally air in mid-September, on the Sunday before the official start of the fall television season. They are currently seen in rotation among the four major networks (CBS, ABC, NBC, and Fox). Because of NBC's coverage of Sunday Night NFL Football beginning in September, when NBC has had the rotation in 2006 and again in 2010, the Emmys move to late August for those years only. Emmys are considered the television equivalent to the Academy Awards (for film), Grammy Awards (for music), and Tony Awards (for stage).

Oktoberfest 2012 Webcam Feed, Live Stream, Weather, Dates Munich Beer Festival
Oktoberfest 2012 Webcam Feed, Live Stream, Weather, Dates Munich Beer Festival
Since 1950, there has been a traditional festival opening: A twelve gun salute and the tapping of the first keg of Oktoberfest beer at 12:00 by the incumbent Mayor of Munich with the cry "O'zapft is!" ("It's tapped!" in the Austro-Bavarian language) opens the Oktoberfest. The Mayor then gives the first beer to the Minister-President of the State of Bavaria. The first mayor to tap the keg was Thomas Wimmer.
By 1960, the Oktoberfest had turned into an enormous world-famous festival. After this foreigners began to picture Germans as wearing the Sennerhut, Lederhosen, and the girls in Dirndl. Horse races ended in 1960.
It is customary for people during the Oktoberfest to wear cowboy shaped hats, which contain a tuft of goat hair. In Germany, goat hair is highly valued and prized, making it one of the most expensive objects for sale. The more tufts of goat hair on your hat, the wealthier you are considered to be. But now, due to textiles and cheap imitations, this tradition has been ending because it is so easy to fake goat hair with the technology at our fingertips.
There are many problems every year with young people, who overestimate their ability to handle large amounts of alcohol. Many pass out due to drunkenness. These especially drunk patrons are often called "Bierleichen" (German for "beer corpses").
For them as well as for the general medical treatment of visitors the Bavarian branch of German Red Cross operates an aid facility and provides emergency medical care on the festival grounds, staffed with around 100 volunteer medics and doctors per day. They serve together with special detachments of Munich police, fire department and other municipal authorities in the service center at the Behördenhof (authorities' court), a large building specially built for the Oktoberfest at the east side of the Theresienwiese, just behind the tents. There is also a place for lost & found children, a lost property office, a security point for women and other public services.
To keep the Oktoberfest, and especially the beer tents, friendly for older people and families, the concept of the "quiet Oktoberfest" was developed in 2005. Until 6:00 pm, the tents only play quiet music, for example traditional wind music. Only after that will Schlager and pop music be played, which had led to more violence in earlier years. The music played in the afternoon is limited to 85 decibels. With these measures, the organizers of the Oktoberfest were able to curb the over-the-top party mentality and preserve the traditional beer tent atmosphere.
Since 2005 the last traveling Enterprise ride of Germany, called Mondlift, is back on the Oktoberfest.
Starting in 2008, a new Bavarian law intended to ban smoking in all enclosed spaces that are open to the public, even at the Oktoberfest. Because of problems enforcing the anti-smoking law in the big tents there was an exception for the Oktoberfest 2008, although the sale of tobacco was not allowed. After heavy losses in the 2008 local elections with the smoke ban being a big issue in debates, the state's ruling party meanwhile implemented special exemptions to beer tents and small pubs. So, smoking in the tents is still legal, but the tents usually have non-smoking area. The sale of tobacco in the tents is now legal, but it's abandoned by agreement. However, in early 2010 a referendum held in Bavaria as a result of a popular initiative re-instituted the original, strict, smoking ban of 2008; thus, no beer will be sold to people caught smoking in the tents.

In 1559, after surviving a treacherous journey across ferocious seas, Spanish conquistador Don Tristan De Luna made landfall on what we know as Pensacola Beach, FL. Upon landing, De Luna and his crew threw a party. It was (literally) the beach party to end all beach parties since the settlement was blown away by a hurricane a few months later.
In 2010, America’s original beach party was officially revived with the launch of DeLuna Fest. For three-days, music fans can dance on the sugar white sands of Pensacola Beach, revel in a diverse mix of live beach-friendly bands and musicians, and admire Florida’s breathtaking sunsets. DeLuna Fest celebrates Pensacola’s rich heritage and raises a toast to America’s original settlement.
DeLuna Fest returns September 21 - 23, 2012 with four stages (two directly on the Pensacola Beach sand) and a top-notch display of live music featuring a diverse blend of genres. Pensacola Beach is an unincorporated community located on Santa Rosa Island, a barrier island, in Escambia County, Florida, United States. It is situated south of Pensacola, and Gulf Breeze connected via bridges spanning to the Fairpoint Peninsula and then to the island, on the Gulf of Mexico. As of the 2000 census, the community had a total population of 2,738.

Pensacola Beach occupies land bound by a 1947 deed from the United States Department of Interior that it be administered in the public interest by the county or leased, but never "disposed"; its businesses and residents are thus long-term leaseholders and not property owners.

Every year there are artists from the trance, drum and bass, break beat, and house genres.
The first Nocturnal Wonderland was held in 1995. In its early years, Insomniac (the production crew responsible for Nocturnal Festival), did not have a steady venue for this event. The location for the party/event would have to move around from year to year. One of its most famous locations was in the Coachella Valley Indio Polo grounds. This is the same location where the now famous Coachella Music Festival is held. In 2003 (after one year of Nocturnal Wonderland not being held because no venue large enough for the event could be secured), Nocturnal Wonderland returned to the National Orange Show, in San Bernardino, after having first taken place at that location in 1998. The Orange Show has been the location of Nocturnal from 2003 to the present except for 2007. During 2007, the event was held in Downtown Los Angeles.
On Labor Day Weekend 2010, Insomniac surprised many fans by introducing Nocturnal Festival Texas held at Apache Pass Fairgrounds in Rockdale, Texas, just outside of Austin. This event became not only the first Nocturnal Festival outside of California, but also the first multi-day Nocturnal being held on September 4 and 5. Insomniac would further surprise fans by announcing Nocturnal Festival California will be two days as well in 2012, as well as a return to the name Nocturnal Wonderland. Other similar festivals in the Southern California area include Together As One (Produced in conjunction with Go Ventures), Monster Massive (A Go Ventures Production), Beyond Wonderland, and Electric Daisy Carnival.

Pop Montreal is an annual music festival occurring in Montreal, Quebec, Canada in the early fall, usually at the end of September or the beginning of October. More than 400 acts are scheduled to play in more than 50 venues across the city, mostly located in the Mile End area. Along with music, Pop Montreal has music-related film (Film Pop), art events (Art Pop) as well as a conference and a cultural fair called Puces Pop. The initial festival in 2002 saw 80 musical acts performing in 40 venues around Saint Laurent Boulevard.
The name of the festival was inspired by the Halifax Pop Explosion. Since its creation by Daniel Seligman, Noelle Sorbara, and Peter Rowan in 2002,[4][5] Pop Montreal has presented concerts of important rock, indie-rock, alternative, hip hop and folk artists from North America and Europe as Beck, Billy Childish, Interpol, TTC or Franz Ferdinand along with local favorites The Dears, Les Breastfeeders, We Are Wolves, Arcade Fire and The Unicorns. The Halifax Pop Explosion is a music festival that takes place every fall, two weeks after Thanksgiving, in Halifax Nova Scotia, Canada.
Founded in 1993, the Halifax Pop Explosion has actually been three different events that are now remembered as one long standing event. The original Halifax Pop Explosion, which was operated as private business from 1993–1995, was created as a platform to celebrate Halifax's new found fame as the "Seattle of the North" and home of Canadian grunge, as well as to promote local bands such as Sloan, Jale, The Super Friendz and Thrush Hermit. "Halifax Pop Explosion" also came to be adopted as the overall name of the Halifax music scene as a whole.
