Wimbledon 2012 Live Stream Online, All England Club Grand Slam Tennis Online Feed

Wimbledon (25 June – 9 July in 2012), is the oldest tennis tournament in the world and is considered by many to be the most prestigious. It has been held at the All England Club in the London suburb of Wimbledon since 1877.

The tournament takes place over two weeks in late June and early July, culminating with the Ladies' and Gentlemen's Singles Final, scheduled respectively for the second Saturday and Sunday. Each year, five major events are contested, as well as four junior events and four invitational events. The hard court Australian Open and clay court French Open precede Wimbledon in the calendar year. The hard court US Open follows. For men, the grass court AEGON Championships, also in London, as well as the Gerry Weber Open in Halle, Germany, serve as respective warm-up events. For women, the AEGON Classic in Birmingham and 2 joint events, the UNICEF Open in 's-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands and the AEGON International Eastbourne serve as warm-up events to Wimbledon.

Wimbledon traditions include a strict dress code for competitors, the eating of strawberries and cream, and Royal patronage. The tournament is also notable for the absence of sponsor advertising around the courts. In 2009, Wimbledon's Centre Court was fitted with a retractable roof to prevent rain delaying and interrupting Centre Court matches during the tournament. The All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club (AELTC), also known as the All-England Club, based at Aorangi Park, Wimbledon, London, England, is a private members club. It is best known as the venue for the Wimbledon Championships, the only Grand Slam tennis event still held on grass. Initially an amateur event that occupied club members and their friends for a few days each summer, the championships have become far more prominent than the club itself. However, it still operates as a members tennis club, with many courts in use all year round.

The Club has 375 full members, about 100 temporary playing members, and a number of honorary members, including past Wimbledon singles champions and people who have rendered distinguished service to the game. In order to become a full or temporary member, an applicant must obtain letters of support from four existing full members, two of whom must have known the applicant for at least three years. The name is then added to the Candidates' List. Honorary Members are elected from time to time by the club's Committee. Membership carries with it the right to purchase two tickets for each day of the Wimbledon Championships. The patron of the club is Queen Elizabeth II, and the President is H.R.H. The Duke of Kent.

Kona Marathon 2012 Live Stream, Keauhou Bay Webcam Feed, Weather

Keauhou is the home of the Kona Marathon, which is a Boston Qualifier. Start and finish of the marathon is at the Keauhou Beach Resort just south of Kailua-Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii. An estimated 1,800 runners of all ages and abilities will be competing for prize money, participating for health and enjoyment, and raising money for charity.

Kona is the name of a moku or district on the Big Island of Hawaii in the State of Hawaii. In the current system of administration of Hawaii County, the moku of Kona is divided into North Kona District (Kona ‘Akau) and South Kona District (Kona Hema). The term "Kona" is sometimes used to refer to its largest town, Kailua-Kona. Other towns in Kona include Kealakekua, Keauhou, Holualoa, Hōnaunau and Honalo.

In the Hawaiian language, kona means leeward or dry side of the island, as opposed to ko‘olau which means windward or the wet side of the island. In the times of Ancient Hawaii, Kona was the name of the leeward district on each major island. In Hawai‘i, the Pacific anticyclone provides moist prevailing northeasterly winds to the Hawaiian islands, resulting in rain when the winds contact the windward landmass of the islands - the winds subsequently lose their moisture and travel on to the leeward (or kona) side of the island. When this pattern reverses, it can produce a Kona storm from the west. Kona has cognates with the same meaning in other Polynesian languages. In Tongan, the equivalent cognate would be tonga; for windward, the associated cognate would be tokelau.

Kona is the home of the world-famous Ironman World Championship Triathlon which is held each year in October in Kailua-Kona. The Kealakekua Bay State Historical Park marks the place where Captain James Cook was killed in 1779. Puʻuhonua o Hōnaunau National Historical Park and Honokohau Settlement and Kaloko-Honokohau National Historical Park are in Kona.

Coeur d'Alene Ironman 2012 Live Stream, CDA Idaho Triathlon Cam Feed, Weather

The Ironman Coeur d'Alene is a year since 2003, held in June triathlon sports event over the Ironman distance (3.86 km swim, 180.2 km cycling, 42,195 km run) in Idaho in the United States. This event is organized by the World Triathlon Corporation (WTC) and the next Ironman competition takes place on 26 June 2011. The swim course is two laps in the Coeur d'Alene Lake. The bike course stretches along just over two laps of the Coeur d'Alene Lake and Hayden Lake. Finally, the run course runs over the marathon distance in two rounds at the Coeur d'Alene Lake.

All of the courses at Ford Ironman Coeur d'Alene are two-loop affairs, and both the bike and the run pass by the finish line and transition area four times, so spectators are in for a great day. The bike course is more challenging than it initially would appear. The course is very technical, with enough difficulty to keep things interesting.

Coeur d'Alene is the largest city and county seat of Kootenai County, Idaho, United States. It is the principal city of the Coeur d'Alene Metropolitan Statistical Area. Coeur d'Alene is home to the second largest metropolitan area in the state of Idaho. As of the 2010 census the population of Coeur d'Alene was 44,137. The city is located about 30 mi (48 km) east of the larger Spokane, Washington, which combined with Coeur d'Alene and northern Idaho has population of 590,617. Coeur d'Alene is the largest city in the northern Idaho Panhandle. The city is located on the north shore of Lake Coeur d'Alene, 25-mile (40 km) in length. Locally, Coeur d'Alene is known as the "Lake City," or simply called by its initials: "CDA".

The city of Coeur d'Alene has grown significantly in recent years, in part because of a substantial increase in tourism, encouraged by several resorts in the area. Barbara Walters called the city "a little slice of Heaven" and included it in her list of most fascinating places to visit. On November 28, 2007, Good Morning America broadcast the city's Christmas lighting ceremony because its display is among the largest in the United States. Coeur d'Alene is also located near two major ski resorts, with Silver Mountain Resort to the east in Kellogg, and Schweitzer Mountain Ski Resort to the north in Sandpoint.

Ironman France 2012 Live Stream, Côte d'Azur Triathlon Online Feed, Weather

The Cote D'Azur Ironman triathlon swim follows the rich tradition long distance racing here in Nice. The bike course for the Ironman France is scenic, hilly and arguably one of the greatest Ironman challenges. The four laps of the marathon will most likely quickly drown out the pain of the bike leg, the scenery beach side casting a spell on many competitors. Then there are the sights, sounds and tourism of the famed seafront. The finish, with its expected huge crowds will be located at the Promenade des Anglais (avenue de Verdun) opposite the Hotel Meridien.

The Côte d'Azur, often known in English as the French Riviera (French: Côte d'Azur; Occitan: Còsta d'Azur; that is “Azure Coast”), is the Mediterranean coastline of the southeast corner of France, also including the sovereign state of Monaco. There is no official boundary, but it is usually considered to extend from either Menton or the Italian border in the east to Saint Tropez, Hyères or Cassis in the west.

This coastline was one of the first modern resort areas. It began as a winter health resort for the British upper class at the end of the 18th century. With the arrival of the railway in the mid-19th century, it became the playground and vacation spot of British, Russian, and other aristocrats, such as Queen Victoria and King Edward VII, when he was Prince of Wales. In the summer, it also played home to many members of the Rothschild family. In the first half of the 20th century it was frequented by artists and writers, including Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse, Edith Wharton, Somerset Maugham and Aldous Huxley, as well as wealthy Americans and Europeans. After World War II it became a popular tourist destination and convention site. Many celebrities, such as Elton John and Brigitte Bardot, have homes in the region. Officially, the Côte d'Azur is home to 163 nationalities with 83,962 foreign residents, although estimates of the number of non-French nationals living in the area are often much higher. Its largest city is Nice, which has a population of 347,060 (2006) The city is the center of a communauté urbaine , Nice-Côte d'Azur, bringing together 24 communes and over 500,000 inhabitants and 933 080 in the urban area.

Full victory parade details are still awaited but it is likely that the Heat parade will likely run along the iconic Biscayne Boulevard. Check back for more details, and live stream as it becomes available.

The Miami Heat are a professional basketball team based in Miami, Florida, United States. The team is a member of the Southeast Division in the Eastern Conference of the National Basketball Association (NBA). They play their home games at American Airlines Arena in Downtown Miami. This is the second consecutive appearance for the Heat, after losing to the Dallas Mavericks in 2011. Their other Finals appearance was in 2006 when they defeated the Mavericks to win their only NBA title. In the regular season, the Heat finished with 46 victories, then defeated the New York Knicks (4–1), Indiana Pacers (4–2) and Boston Celtics (4–3) on their way to the Finals.

The Heat retained much of the same cast from last year, save for rookies Terrel Harris and Norris Cole, Eddy Curry (not expected to play), Shane Battier, and Ronny Turiaf, who was a member of the Los Angeles Lakers team that lost in the Finals to the Boston Celtics in 2008. The Oklahoma City Thunder are a professional basketball franchise based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. They play in the Northwest Division of the Western Conference in the National Basketball Association (NBA); their home court is at Chesapeake Energy Arena. This will be the Thunder's first NBA Finals appearance since they relocated in 2008 from Seattle. Including their seasons as the Seattle SuperSonics, this will be the club's fourth Finals appearance, and first since 1996, when they lost to the Michael Jordan-led Chicago Bulls. They will be seeking their first NBA championship since 1979.

Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (also known as Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania/Mecklenburg-Hitherpomerania in English) is a federal state in northern Germany. The capital city is Schwerin. The state was formed through the merger of the historic regions of Mecklenburg and Vorpommern after World War II, dissolved in 1952 and recreated prior to the German reunification in 1990.

Mecklenburg-Vorpommern is the sixth largest German state by territory, and the least densely populated one. The coastline of the Baltic Sea, including islands such as Rügen and Usedom, as well as the Mecklenburg Lake District are characterised by many holiday resorts and pristine nature, making Mecklenburg-Vorpommern one of Germany's leading tourist destinations. Three of Germany's fourteen national parks are in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, in addition to several hundred nature conservation areas. The University of Rostock (est. 1419) and the University of Greifswald (est. 1456) are amongst the oldest in Europe.

Major cities include Rostock, Schwerin, Neubrandenburg, Stralsund, Greifswald and Wismar. Mecklenburg-Vorpommern was the site of the 33rd G8 summit in 2007. Sixth-largest in area but only fourteenth in overall population among Germany's sixteen Bundeslandes, it is bounded to the north by the Baltic Sea, to the west by Schleswig-Holstein, to the southwest by Lower Saxony, to the south by Brandenburg, and to the east by the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland.

Rock Werchter 2012 Live Stream, The Cure, Elbow, Pearl Jam, Kasabian, Online Feed

The Rock Werchter Festival is a Belgian annual music festival held in the village of Werchter, near Leuven, since 1974. It is one of the five biggest annual rock music festivals in Europe (the other four being Oxegen, Sziget Festival, the Glastonbury Festival and Roskilde Festival). The 2003, 2005, 2006 and 2007 festivals received the Arthur award for best festival in the world at the International Live Music Conference (ILMC). It can host 80,000 guests, of which 69,000 combine all four days, to add up to a total maximum of 113,000 different attendees.

The festival started in 1974 as a one-day event with performances from Banzai and Kandahar, but over the years it has evolved to become Belgium's largest music festival. Originally it was a double-festival, called "Torhout-Werchter", with two festival areas at different sites in Belgium: one in Werchter and one in Torhout. In 1999, the festival dropped the Torhout site and since then has taken place only in Werchter. Since 2003 Werchter has been a 4-day festival, as it was sold by owner Herman Schueremans to American organizers Live Nation. Schueremans however remains the main organiser of the event. The festival is organised every first weekend of the summer vacation in Belgium (last weekend of June or the first of July). Roskilde festival and the Arras Main Square Festival are almost always organised in the same weekend, so they can 'share' bands.

Sometimes, the Glastonbury Festival is organised at the same weekend, but most years it's organised a weekend earlier. Before 1995, when the festival was still a double-festival, it had one stage with 8 or 9 bands performing twice, once in Torhout and once in Werchter. Since 1995 the Main stage was accompanied by a second stage. This stage was an open air stage until 1999 when it was made a tent named 'Pyramid Marquee', with a capacity of 6,000 people. The performers in Pyramid Marquee are usually lesser-known or aimed at a specific audience. Sometimes groups that do well in Pyramid Marquee are expected to have a hard time taking the step to the Main stage, especially when they are seen as an act needing intimate, smaller venues. Sigur Rós is the most famous example of this, when they were programmed on Main Stage in 2008 after their 2006 performance in Pyramid Marquee, but they managed the transition and were hailed as one the best performances of the festival.

The bands presented at Rock Werchter are traditionally a balanced mix of large well known artists, popular crowd-pleasing acts and local Belgian coming acts. Belgian band dEUS in 2008 was the first local band to close the Main Stage on the last day since several years. The days usually start around noon, except for the first day, which starts around 4pm. Most performances last from 30 minutes to an hour and a half. The days end around 1am, but when the last act is a dance act they sometimes last until 3am or later. At the end of the last day there is a big fireworks show.

Governors Ball Music Festival 2012 Live Stream, Randalls Island Lineup, Online Feed NYC

Governors Ball Music Festival 2012 Live Stream, Randalls Island Lineup, Online Feed NYC
Governors Ball Music Festival is a two-day music festival held on Randall's Island in New York City on June 23-24, 2012. This year will be the second year of the annual event. It is produced by Founders Entertainment, an independent festival promotion company based in New York City. Aside from the wide variety of music, the festival will feature different games and activities, as well as an assortment of New York City's finest food-trucks.

Randall's Island is situated in the East River in New York City, part of the borough of Manhattan. It is separated from Manhattan island on the west by the river's main channel, from Queens on the east by the Hell Gate, and from the Bronx on the north by the Bronx Kill. It is joined to Wards Island on the south by a landfill, the site of former Little Hell Gate. Together, the two islands form New York County's Census Tract 240, which had a total population of 1,386 living on 2.2 km² of land area, according to the United States Census, 2000.

ative Americans called the island Minnahanonck. It was purchased from the Indians in 1637 by Dutch Governor Wouter Van Twiller and used for farming. John Montresor, an engineer with the British army, purchased the island in 1772. He lived on it, now renamed Montresor's Island, with his wife until the Revolutionary War forced him to deploy. The British used his island to launch amphibious attacks on Manhattan, and Montresor's house there was burned in 1777. He resigned his commission and returned to England in 1778, but retained ownership of the island until the British evacuated the city in 1783 and it was confiscated. It was purchased by Jonathan Randel (or Randal) in 1784, at which time it acquired its familiar name, if with different spelling. His heirs sold it to the city in 1835 for $60,000.

Tropfest 2012 from Bryant Park New York

Event: Tropfest 2012
When: 23 June 2012 , 3 – 11pm
Where: Bryant Park, New York

Alexi Murdoch, Doveman, and local indie-rockers Milagres will be the musical performers at Tropfest New York’s main event June 23rd in Bryant Park.

The free event will be hosted by Hugh Jackman and will close the weekend-long celebration of the festival’s 20th anniversary, which will also feature the short film competition that night.

Tropfest is the world's largest short film festival. It has also quickly become known as the world's first truly global film festival.

Tropfest began in 1993 as a screening for 200 people in a cafe in Sydney but has since become the largest platform for short films in the world. Tropfest Australia takes place in February each year in front of a live audience of approximately 150,000. The main event takes place in Sydney but live satellite events are also staged in Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane, Adelaide, Hobart, Perth and other cities. The event is broadcast live on television and webcast to viewers around Australia and the world.

Increasingly, Tropfest events take place in cities around the world including Abu Dhabi, London, Berlin, Toronto, Bangkok, and New York. The inaugural Tropfest Arabia, encompassing approximately 33 countries throughout the Middle East and North Africa, took place in Abu Dhabi in November 2011.

Tropfest distinguishes itself from other events by being a 'content generation' platform, rather than merely an exhibition platform. Filmmakers are required to create new works for the festival which must include an item, known as the "Tropfest Signature Item" (TSI) and which changes each year. The films must be less than 7 minutes (including titles and credits) and be world premieres at the Tropfest event.

Tropfest held annual New York screenings in 2006-2008. Signature items were a manhole cover, a slice, and a sunflower respectively. In November, 2011, it was announced that Tropfest was returning to New York in the Summer of 2012. Filmmakers were invited to 'grab a camera, start shooting and tell their story through film'.

After months of rumors regarding a possible Tropfest Las Vegas, it was finally announced Tropfest will collaborate with The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas to present Tropfest Las Vegas - described as 'a 20th birthday celebration including live indie-spirited music and an All Star Competition.'

Tropfest's prize pool is one of the richest in the short film arena, and includes international trips to develop filmmaking careers and 'work experience' with top filmmakers. As a result, Tropfest has become known as the undisputed premiere launch pad for filmmaking careers, although to date this has been most notable in Australia, where many commercial and critical successes are directed by Tropfest alumni.

IOW Festival 2012 Live Stream, Seaclose Park, Elbow, Biffy Clyro Isle of Wight Webcast

The Isle of Wight Festival is a music festival which takes place every year on the Isle of Wight in England. It was originally held from 1968 to 1970. These original events were promoted and organised by the Foulk brothers (Ron, Ray and Bill Foulk) under the banner of their company Fiery Creations Limited. The venues were Ford Farm (near Godshill), Wootton and Afton Down (near Freshwater) respectively. The 1969 event was notable for the appearance of Bob Dylan and the Band. This was Dylan's first paid performance since his motor cycle accident some three years earlier, and was held at a time when many still wondered if he would ever perform again.

Followers from across the world trecked to the Isle of Wight for what seemed like a 'second coming'. Estimates of 150,000-250,000 attended. The 1969 festival opened on Friday 29 August, eleven days after the close of Woodstock. Dylan was living in Woodstock, New York, at the time and it was widely believed that he would perform there, after the event had been "put in his own backyard". As it happened, Dylan left for the Isle of Wight on 15 August, the day the Woodstock festival began.

The event was revived in 2002 at Seaclose Park, a recreation ground on the outskirts of Newport. It has been held annually since that year, progressively extending itself northwards beyond Seaclose Park along the fields of the eastern Medina valley. Many notable artists have performed since its revival including The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Muse, Stereophonics, Donovan, Ray Davies, Robert Plant, David Bowie, Manic Street Preachers, The Who, R.E.M., Coldplay, The Proclaimers, Bryan Adams, The Police, Foo Fighters and Kings of Leon. It was sponsored by Nokia from 2004 to 2006. The promoters of the event now are Solo Music Agency and promotions. Apart from being held on the Isle of Wight, and featuring the now customary artwork of Dave Roe, there is no connection with the festivals of 1968–1970.

The Isle of Wight Festival 2012 will be the eleventh revived Isle of Wight Festival, to be held at Seaclose Park in Newport on the Isle of Wight. The event will run from 22–24 June 2012. 2012 Lineup:

Hackney Marshes is an area of grassland on the western bank of the River Lea in the London Borough of Hackney. It was incorporated into the Lee Valley Park in 1967. It was originally a true marsh, but was extensively drained from Medieval times, and rubble was dumped here from buildings damaged by air raids during World War II.

The principal area of the marsh lies below Lea Bridge Road between the Old River Lea, and the Hackney Cut – an artificial channel of the Lee Navigation, dug about 1770, to avoid a loop in the natural watercourse. The southern extent is marked by the A12; although the industrial land around Hackney Wick Stadium was originally an extension of the marsh; now to form a part of the Olympic Park for the 2012 Summer Olympics.

SF Pride Parade 2012 Live Stream, Online Feed San Francisco Market Street

The San Francisco Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Pride Celebration, usually known as San Francisco Pride, is a parade and festival held in June each year in San Francisco to celebrate the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people and their allies. The 40th anniversary parade included over 200 parade contingents, and is described on the official website as "the largest gathering of LGBT people and allies in the nation. The San Francisco Pride parade is a world-renowned LGBT pride parade. It is held on Sunday morning of the Festival. The route is usually along San Francisco's Market Street, from Beale Street to 8th Street. The parade starts nominally at 10:30 am, though it is hours before all the contingents are able to get onto the parade route, and the last contingent doesn't leave the parade route until 2-4 pm.

A two-day (Saturday and Sunday) festival has grown up around the Sunday morning parade. It is a collection of booths, dance stages, and vendors around the Civic Center area near San Francisco City Hall. On the Sunday of the parade, an area of the festival called Leather Alley features fetish and BDSM oriented booths and demonstrations. The festival is traditionally held in the last full weekend in June. This commemorates the Stonewall riots. There have been proposals to move it to different dates, for instance to July 4 in 2004. The independently organized Trans March is held on the Friday before the parade while the Dyke March and Pink Saturday events are held the Saturday night of the festival in The Castro. The first event resembling the modern San Francisco Pride celebration was held in 1970--a small "gay-in" in Golden Gate Park. Since 1972, the event has been held each year. The name of the festival has changed over the years. The event organizers each year select a theme for the event, which is reflected in the logo and the event’s publicity.

The Rainbow Flag identified with the Gay community was originally created by Gilbert Baker for the 1978 San Francisco Pride Parade. It originally had eight stripes, but was later simplified to the current six stripes. A six-stripe Rainbow Flag flies over Harvey Milk Plaza in the Castro, arguably the best known gay village in the world.

Washington DC Caribbean Carnival Parade 2012 Live Stream, Online Cam Feed

The Washington DC Caribbean Style Mardi Gras Parade with costumed masqueraders representing the Caribbean, Latin America and the Diaspora will transform Georgia Avenue into a “Caribbean Bourbon Street” with the sights and sounds of the Caribbean. This year’s Parade begins on Kansas at Georgia Avenue, NW and ends at Barry Place, NW across from the Howard University Campus leading to the Festival.

Caribbean Carnival is the term used for a number of events that take place in many of the Caribbean islands annually. The Caribbean's Carnivals all have several common themes all originating from Trinidad and Tobago Carnival, based on folklore, culture, religion, and tradition, not on amusement rides. Carnival tradition is based on a number of disciplines including: "Playing Mas"/Masquerade; Calypso Music and crowning a Calypso King or Monarch; Panorama (Steel Band Competition); Jouvert morning; and a number of other traditions.

Georgia Avenue is a major north-south artery in Northwest Washington, D.C. and Montgomery County, Maryland. Within the District of Columbia and a short distance in Silver Spring, Maryland, Georgia Avenue is also U.S. Route 29. Both Howard University and Walter Reed Army Medical Center are located on Georgia Avenue.

Georgia Avenue begins north of Florida Avenue, which was the boundary of the Old City, and is a continuation of 7th Street. Traveling northward, the street passes Howard University and Fort Stevens. At Eastern Avenue, the road crosses into Montgomery County and passes through Silver Spring. Where it crosses Colesville Road a mile into Maryland, Georgia Avenue splits off U.S. Route 29 and becomes Maryland State Highway 97. Georgia Avenue ends at the boundary with Howard County, where it becomes Roxbury Mills Road.[1] The total length of the road is about 24 miles (39 km), of which 5 miles (8 km) are in Washington, D.C.

Hurricane Festival 2012 Live Stream, The Cure, Temper Trap, Blink-182 Online Webcast Feed

The Hurricane Festival, also just Hurricane, is a music festival that takes place in Scheeßel near Bremen, Germany, usually every June. The festival and its guests are generally associated with the alternative part of mainstream music, although the festival has been becoming more and more mainstream over the years. The Southside Festival, often referred to as the "sister" of Hurricane, takes place on the same three days in the very south of Germany (contrary to Hurricane, which is in the north). Together they are a twin festival, since they are on the same days and usually have the same lineup with only few exceptions.

In 1973, the first festival was held in Scheeßel, the place where today's Hurricane takes place. It was called "Es rockt in der Heide" at that time (literally translated: It's rocking the heath) and was attended by 52,000 people. At the "First Rider Open Air" in 1977, fans caused damage of more than a million marks when riots broke out, because only five of the announced 23 bands could perform, a huge scandal was uncovered few days later, forcing the organizing management to discontinue their festivals in Scheeßel.

In 1997 rock returned to Scheeßel in the form of the Hurricane Festival, with numerous bands performing in front of 20,000 guests. It has taken place on the Eichenring, a motorcycle sand racetrack, ever since. Audience size peaked in 2008 with about 75,000 guests; from 2002 to 2006 between 40,000 and 60,000 people came. In 2003, the festival was extended from two to three days. In 2007 60,000 and in 2008 70.000 tickets were sold.

Country Fest 2012 Live Stream, Cadott WI Music Festival Lineup, Webcast Feed

Country Fest 2012 Live Stream, Cadott WI Music Festival Lineup, Webcast Feed

Country Fest is a major music festival that is held every year right around late June in Cadott, Wisconsin. Over thousands of people attend this music festival that was started in 1987. There have been numerous famous artists that have performed at Country Fest that include; Keith Urban, Kenny Chesney, George Strait, and Carrie Underwood. Every year since 1987 country music fans have been flocking to Cadott, a little Wisconsin town of 1,345 people. Every summer towards the end of June, the famous concert known as Country Fest is held there.

The event consists of four fun-filled days of hanging out with friends, meeting new people, “roughing it” at a camp site and sleeping in a tent. This is a great excuse for people to get out of their town and do something new, but most importantly, have the time of their lives listening to their favorite music. Country Fest is not an inexpensive event. The price of a four day adult general admission ticket is $165. Additionally, there is a $20 fee to park and another $95 for a four day general admission camping ticket. Many people find it easier to go with a group of people and split the cost of parking and camping to save money on their expenses. Although it is not required to get a camp site, most people prefer to do so because of the outdoors experience and the fun that goes along with the concerts. Ordering tickets and reserving a camp site is a short, easy task. Just log on to countryfest.com to place an order and the tickets will arrive in days. Country Fest attracts all ages, but their primary consumers consist of young adults, mainly over the age of the legal drinking age, twenty one. The four main sponsors include; Miller Lite, Captain Morgan and Jack Daniels and Pepsi.

However, it is important to recognize that there is a security check at the gates for anything that is related to drugs, alcohol or weapons. Many people who attend Country Fest make sure to leave with a souvenir such as a hat or shirt to recall the memorable event. Country fest is known to be one of the top country concerts with the hottest country artists. There will be a wide variety of outstanding talent at the 2008 Country Fest this coming summer that should not be missed. The 2008 lineup is fantastic. Kenny Chesney, who has been nominated for twenty six awards and has received eighteen, six of these awards have been for Entertainment of the Year, which is an outstanding accomplishment. Brooks and Dunn, who have received an astounding fifty-two awards, have just released a new album. Cowboy Town will be performing as well. Sugarland (who will also be attending) ended a six year reign as Vocal Duo of the year for Brooks and Dunn. Other big artists include American Idol contestant Kellie Picker, Miranda Lambert, Emerson Drive, Trace Adkins, and Billy Currington. Each Country Artist will include songs from both of their old and new albums. It is always exciting to hear their latest songs, but it’s even better to hear familiar songs to sing and dance along to. Many people would agree that Country Fest is the chance of a lifetime.

The Wanderlust Festival is a summer festival first held in Squaw Valley in July 2009. The event, announced in May 2009, featured a musical lineup featuring Michael Franti, Spoon, Broken Social Scene, and Girl Talk. Notably Michael Franti had to bow out of the show at the last moment due to appendicitis. Wanderlust featured a yogi lineup including John Friend, Shiva Rea and Annie Carpenter. Wanderlust 2012 Vermont will take place at Stratton Mountain Ski Resort in Bondville, VT.

Wanderlust will take place at Stratton Mountain Ski Resort. The Stratton Mountain Ski resort is located in Bondville, Vermont. Stratton Mountain is more than a ski resort. It's a mountain resort offering you freedom to explore nature with amenities close at hand. Play tennis, go hiking or kayaking, then relax with your family and hike or ride in our gondola to the summit. You will see views only the highest peak in Vermont's Green Mountain range can provide. Stratton was established in 1961, and expanded rapidly into one of Vermont's largest ski areas. In the early 1970s, following development of the initial terrain, Stratton began to develop a new beginner area; this opened in 1972 with additional trails, though plans for a new lift were not realized. In the late 1980s, Stratton constructed new terrain to the south of the main mountain, and dubbed it "Kidderbrook." The expansion included a new quad chairlift, and was planned to be a starting point for potential additional terrain and housing in the area, though this never occurred. In the late 1990s and early 2000s, the ski area constructed several new high-speed six-person lifts, and in 2007, the Kidderbrook Quad was removed and sold, as it was underused and Stratton's parent companies were in financial trouble at the time.

Stratton has 92 trails over 600 acres (240 ha) of skiable terrain, 95% of which has snowmaking. 42% of the trails are rated as easy, 31% are intermediate, and the remainder are advanced. There are fourteen lifts, which can transport 33,528 people an hour. The mountain's base is at 1,872 ft (571 m) and the summit is at 3,875 ft (1,181 m) for a vertical drop of 2,003 ft (611 m). Stratton has an average annual snowfall of 180 inches (460 cm). Stratton Mountain claims a unique role in hiking trail history. In 1909, James P. Taylor (1872–1949) was on the mountain when he conceived the idea of a trail from Massachusetts to Canada, which became Vermont's Long Trail. While on the summit of Stratton during the construction of the Long Trail, Benton MacKaye (1879–1975) considered that it would be a good idea to have a trail spanning the entire Appalachian Range. The result was the Appalachian Trail, a 2,170-mile (3,490 km) National Scenic Trail from Georgia to Maine. In southern Vermont, the two trails are contiguous, crossing the summit of Stratton from south to north. A short (.75-mile), relatively flat side trail leads from the summit to the Stratton Mountain Resort.

Royal Ascot 2012 Live Stream, Ascot Racecourse Webcam Feed, Weather

The centre piece of Ascot’s year, Royal Ascot is one of Europe's most famous race meetings, and dates back to 1711 when it was founded by Queen Anne. Every year Royal Ascot is attended by HM Elizabeth II and various members of the British Royal Family such as The Prince of Wales, arriving each day in a horse-drawn carriage with the Royal procession taking place at the start of each race day and the raising of the Queens royal Standard. It is a major event in the British social calendar, and press coverage of the attendees and what they are wearing often exceeds coverage of the actual racing. There are 3 enclosures attended by guests on Royal Ascot week.

Ascot Racecourse is a famous English racecourse, located in the small town of Ascot, Berkshire, used for thoroughbred horse racing. It is one of the leading racecourses in the United Kingdom, hosting 9 of the UK's 32 annual Group 1 races, the same number as Newmarket. The course is closely associated with the British Royal Family, being approximately six miles from Windsor Castle, and owned by the Crown Estate.

The Royal Enclosure is the most prestigious of the 3 enclosures with recent visits from the Queen and Royal Family members. Access to the royal enclosure is restricted with high security on the day. First time applicants must apply to the Royal Enclosure office and gain membership from someone who has attended the enclosure for at least four years. For existing badgeholders, an invitation is sent out by Her Majesty's Representative to request badges. The badgeholders name is written onto the badge and can only be used by that person; the colours of the badges vary each day for one day applicants. Those in the Royal Enclosure have the options of fine dining and hospitality and a selection of bars. The Dress is strictly enforced, for Ladies only a day dress with a hat or fascinator is acceptable with rules applying to the length of the dress and ladies must not show bare midriffs or shoulders. For gentlemen a black or grey morning dress with top hat.

Over 300,000 people make the annual visit to Berkshire during Royal Ascot week, making this Europe’s best-attended race meeting. This leads to a split among racing fans, some of whom are glad to see racing in the spotlight, and getting more attention, while others do not like the meeting despite the quality of racing. There are 16 Group races on offer, with at least one Group One event on each of the five days. The Ascot Gold Cup is on Ladies' Day on the Thursday. There is over £3,000,000 of prize money on offer.

New York Pride Rally 2012 Live Stream, Central Park Summerstage Online Feed

New York Pride Rally 2012 Live Stream, Central Park Summerstage Online Feed

Central Park is home to the New York Pride Rally, which features well-known performers and motivating speakers from the LGBT community to kick-off the year's Pride Week events. The Rally has now moved to its new home at Central Park's SummerStage in Rumsey Field, 5th Ave and 72nd St.

LGBT pride or gay pride is the concept that lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) people should be proud of their sexual orientation and gender identity. The movement has three main premises: that people should be proud of their sexual orientation and gender identity, that diversity is a gift, and that sexual orientation and gender identity are inherent and cannot be intentionally altered. The use of the abbreviated gay pride and pride have since become mainstream and shorthand expressions inclusive of all individuals in various LGBT communities.

The word pride is used in this case as an antonym for shame, which has been used to control and oppress LGBT persons throughout history. Pride in this sense is an affirmation of one's self and the community as a whole. The modern "pride" movement began after the "Stonewall riots" in 1969. Instead of backing down to unconstitutional raids by New York City Police Department, gay people in local bars fought back. While it was a violent situation it also gave the underground community the first sense of communal pride in a very well publicized incident. From the yearly parade that commemorated the anniversary of the Stonewall riots began a national grassroots movement. Today many countries around the world celebrate LGBT pride. The pride movement has furthered the cause of gay rights by lobbying politicians, registering voters and increasing visibility to educate on issues important to LGBT communities. LGBT pride advocates work for equal "rights and benefits" for LGBT people.

Central Park is a public park in the center of Manhattan in New York City, United States. The park initially opened in 1857, on 843 acres (3.41 km2) of city-owned land. In 1858, Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux won a design competition to improve and expand the park with a plan they entitled the Greensward Plan. Construction began the same year and was completed in 1873.

Designated a National Historic Landmark in 1963, the park is currently managed by the Central Park Conservancy under contract with the city government. The Conservancy is a nonprofit organization that contributes 85% of Central Park's $25 million dollar annual budget, and employs 80% of the park's maintenance staff

About half the field each year consists of players who are fully exempt from qualifying for the U.S. Open. The qualification categories changed substantially in 2012. Seven categories (9 and 11 to 16, from 2011) were eliminated. These categories exempted top finishers on the money lists of various tours and multiple PGA Tour winners. Three categories were added (3, 4, and 9 below), for the winners of The Amateur Championship, the Mark H. McCormack Medal, and the BMW PGA Championship. Two categories were expanded (13 and 14 below), to include the top 60 instead of the top 50 in the Official World Golf Ranking.

The Olympic Club is an athletic club and private social club in San Francisco, California. Its main "City Clubhouse" is located in downtown San Francisco, and its three golf courses are in the southwestern corner of the city, at the border with Daly City. The "Lakeside Clubhouse" is located just north of the Daly City border; the two clubhouses are separated by about 10 miles (16 km).

The three golf courses are named Lake, Ocean, and Cliffs. Lake and Ocean are 18-hole par-71 courses, and the Cliffs is a nine-hole par-3 course in the bluffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean. All three venues are lined with many trees (almost 40,000 on the Lake course) and offer views of the Golden Gate Bridge and Golden Gate Park. The United States Golf Association recognizes the Olympic Club as one of the first 100 golf clubs established in the United States.
